The mission of the Experimental Astrophysics Group is to conduct original research in astrophysics. This is accomplished partly through the direct efforts of the staff scientists in the EAG, partly by providing the linkage to collaborative efforts either within Fermilab or with outside institutions, and partly by providing a home base to attract new projects in experimental astrophysics to Fermilab.
